Low cost carrier (LCC) of Citilink Indonesia is partnering with PermataBank to ensure the availability of cash (cash delivery service) in the event of an emergency for 24 hours for ticket refund disbursement requirements and other requirements needed to ensure the comfort of passengers in the event of a flight disruption.
Hadinoto Soedigno, Director of Production Citilink Indonesia, explained that this form of partnership has never been applied in the flight industry before. “Citilink Indonesia is the first airline to implement this cooperation in the aviation industry and PermataBank is the first bank to support these services.”
Innovations made by Citilink Indonesia and PermataBank is available in 19 cities/airports in Indonesia and the delivery of the emergency cash will be conducted throughout the day – 24 hours 365 days – all year round. In case of flight cancellations caused by the airline or force majeure factors, cash will be returned according to the applicable requirements in 2-3 hours after the passenger data verification process so that passengers will not have to wait for flight confirmation.
