Eleven Companies’ Stock Price Growth Exceeds JCI

Eleven companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) recorded an average stock price growth of 42% from September 2015-August 2016, exceeding 32% of Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) rise.

Tito Sulistio, President Director of IDX, said Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) recorded the highest increasewith 71.4% in the previous year. The transaction frequency reached almost 1 million times. Velocity or the ratio of total transaction value and average market capitalization for ANTM stands at 160% by the end of the month. Therefore, ANTM is set as IDX Best Blue 2016.

Besides ANTM, there are 10 more listed companies that are predicated as IDX Top Ten Blue 2016, namely Astra International Tbk (ASII), Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI), HM Sampoerna Tbk (HMSP), Matahari Department Store Tbk (LPPF), Pelat Timah Nusantara Tbk (NIKL), Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGAS), PP Properti Indonesia Tbk (PPRO), Sri Rejeki Isman Tbk (SRIL), Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (TLKM), and Unilever Indonesia Tbk (UNVR).

IDX chose 11 from 419 listed companies that fulfill the following criteria: First, it has been listed in IDX before August 2015. Second, it did not get suspended in trading due to the mismanagement of the company and for not cooling down suspension. Third, a number of stocks are at least at 7.5%. Fourth, it has submitted its financial report of June 2016. Fifth, it does not have negative equity. Sixth, the company share must be recorded with at least 80% from a number of stock trading days during September 2015-August 2016.
