Tax Amnesty Compensation Funds is Estimated Less from the Target

Compensation funds paid by taxpayers on tax amnesty program is estimated to reach only 5,57 trillion IDR by the end of March 2017 or below the target. This estimation is based on the assumption of an average compensation payment of 21,66 billion IDR per day.

During the period of 18th July until 18th August 2016, Danpac Sekuritas was calculating the tax amnesty compensation funds that reached 693 billion IDR or 21,66 billion IDR per day. The realization of compensation funds is just 0,42% of the government’s target which is 165 trillion IDR. To reach the target, the flow of compensation payment must reach 642,02 billion IDR per day.

The government issued some technical regulations which contain stimulus to boost the state revenue from the tax amnesty program, wherein the realization is still very low. Until Friday (19/8), the compensation funds has reached 757 billion IDR or 0,5% from the target. The property value declared to taxpayers reached 37.5 trillion and the repatriation funds reached 1,26 trillion IDR. (*)
