Corporate bond issuance is expected to reach IDR 110 trillion, higher than last year of IDR 62.57 trillion. The bond issuance rise is affected by the increase in funding needs and the downward trend in loan interest rate.
Salyadi Saputra, the President Director of Pefindo, said that the issuance value reached IDR 65.24 trillion by end of August. Based on the mandatory rate, Pefindo predicts that there will be bond issuance of IDR 51.24 trillion in the fourth quarter. The outstanding corporate bond reached IDR 281.9 trillion per August.
The issuance consists of Secondary Public Offering (SPO) of IDR 31.7 trillion, SPO plan of IDR 8.15 trillion, and bond issuance, sukuk bond, and MTN of IDR 11.39 trillion. The bond issuance is still dominated by the bank and multifinance sector companies. (*)
