Repatriation Fund Surges Significantly

The repatriation fund flow in tax amnesty program surges significantly to IDR 53.7 trillion on Monday (19/9) rather than last week of IDR 46.5 trillion. The surges is contributed by declaration and the repatriation is done by big taxpayers, like TP Rachmat and Murdaya Poo.

Directorate General of Taxation shows a declaration of taxpayers property, reaching IDR 971 trillion. The ransom tax reaches IDR 32.1 trillion or by 19.45% from a target of IDR 165 trillion. The Ministry of Finance said that the repatriation fund from Singapore reaches IDR 14.1 trillion per 15 September 2016.

Bahana Securities predicts that the increasing participation of tax amnesty will be a positive sentiment to Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The Ministry of Finance RI and Monetary Authority of Singapore said that Indonesian citizen participation is not a crime. It will be able to eliminate their concerns to participate.

According to Directorate General of Taxation, the accumulated tax amnesty participation by asset declaration reached IDR 162.9 trillion on 16-18 September so total declaration is IDR 714 trillion. Bahana Securities calculated the declaration of taxpayer property was higher by IDR 257.1 trillion so total is IDR 967.2
trillion.

On Monday (19/9) closing market, JCI closed up 1.03% to the level of 5.321,84 points. (*)
